Father Connors Endowment Trust Fund

As part of the 2005/2006 Community Service requirement, each family is required to sell 4 calendars @ $25.00 each.

The Father James V. Connors Endowment Trust Fund is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. The sole purpose of this Endowment, established in February of 2000, is to provide perpetual financial support for Sacred Heart Catholic School in Patterson, California.

This endowment fund is a permanent fund for the life of the school. Money that is donated to this fund becomes apart of the "principal amount" that is invested. The income from the investments is given to the school annually for its operating cost. This money is invested in diversified, low-risk and low-cost mutual funds. All decisions are made by the seven member Board of Trustees. The Endowment's Charter is available upon your request.

Sacred Heart Catholic School is a part of the Western Association of Schools and Collages (WASC). The school received the maximum academic accreditation of six years in 2000.

Every year it gets more and more expensive to fund the school and we have become more and more dependent on raising tuition and fund-raising projects performed by the school's parents. This fund is a step towards solving the problem of financial security for the school.

By donating to this Endowment Trust Fund you are helping to ensure a quality education for the children, the children of our future. All money raised by the Endowment solely benefits Sacred Heart Catholic School. To date FCETF has given $29,000.00 to SHCS. The Fr. Connors Endowment Trust Fund was established in March of 2000. The sole purpose of the Fund is to help alleviate the financial burden of SHCS.

Memorial Donations

The FCETF gratefully accepts donations made in memory of deceased friends or family members. Acknowledgements are sent both to the donor and the next of kin in a timely manner. These memorials are listed in a memorial book that is presented with the offertory gifts at the 9 am first Friday school children's Mass held at Sacred Heart Church. The names of those remembered are read with the prayers of the faithful. We have been blessed to receive many generous donations in memory of special people who have passed to eternal life.
