My very dear Mr. Dave Roberts,

Wish you a very happy Christmas and the peace and joy of the New Born
King be yours in the coming New Year 2012. This year our Christmas
card is home made one and it will give you an idea of Marillac Mercy
Home. We have 45 destitute elderly or differently able residents in
the home, and they fully depend on the home for their survival till
death.

This home was established in the year 1965 by the founder body which
is the Society of Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. From
then on wards it is taking care of the totally destitute women who are
aged, handicapped, mentally retarded, blind and sick persons of our
society. It is a real home for the homeless and they feel that they
are some one wanted and cared. They are either recommended or brought
by different NGOS, police, Government officials. Some of them are
brought from the railway station or Government hospitals being found
abandoned by their family members or relatives.

It is with much joy and a grateful heart that I come to thank you for
the gift of an Auto Rickshaw for the conveyance of our elderly and
differently able residents of Marillac Mercy Home. I know the trouble
you have taken to raise funds to purchase it, and it shows your love
and sympathy for the most abandoned women. We all the sisters join
with our inmates in thanking and praying for you and all the Knights
of Fr. Rose Council and others who have contributed to realize this
Auto –rickshaw for our home.

We received USD 4057 @50.56 a total amount of cash Rs.
2,04,664.00(rupees two lac four thousand six hundred sixty four only)
and the rest amount was deducted for the service charges by the bank.
We already bought the Auto and I am attaching the photos with this
mail.

Balance Rs. 20548.00 (rupees twenty thousand five hundred forty eight)
the rest money if you allow for the time being we can use it for the
