Sacred Heart Catholic Parish

The Respect Life Committee of Sacred Heart Church promotes the teachings of the Church that life is sacred from the moment of conception until natural death.  This includes topics of abortion and post abortion healing, natural family planning and chastity education, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia and the death penalty.

Some of the activities this committee is involved in include "Respect Life Month" in October, "The Walk for Life" in January, parish educational materials and the weekly "Respect Life Corner" bulletin announcement.

If you would like information on the Catholic churches teaching regarding these topics, would like to have a presenter speak to your group or would like to join this committee please contact Stacy Phillips at 892-2629

The annual "Walk for Life" West Coast will take place Saturday Jan 21, 2006 in San Francisco.  Participants may join the Diocese of Stockton which is taking buses (registration material available in the back of the Church) or Bro. Tom who will again take a group from the Parish.
